Our Personal Care Aides services are carried out by licensed professionals that have gone through a highly selective screening process, only hiring caregivers with experience and a commitment to providing exceptional care, service and support to our clients and their families.
The services our PCAs and CNAs provide include:
- Helping clients with bathing, shaving, dressing, and grooming.
- Helping with household duties as needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Incontinence assistance and toileting.
- Shopping and preparing meals.
- Medication assistance.
- Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and light exercise.
Companion Care
Sometimes, all a loved one needs is a companion, someone who can help prepare meals, assist with laundry and simply be there to play cards, take a walk or watch tv. That's why Prism provides companion care services for seniors who don't need the assistance of a licensed Home Health Care Assistant but could use help with daily tasks.
Our companion care services include:
- Helping with light housekeeping chores, including Laundry.
- Shopping and preparing meals.
- Assisting with personal grooming tasks.
- Taking the client to doctors' appointments and other necessary outings.
- Playing games, reading, watching tv and other companion activities.
Post Surgical Assistance
Recovering at home after surgery can limit you with your daily activities. Whether you are recovering from a major surgery, childbirth, or plastic surgery, our compassionate caregivers can assist you to a healthy and complete recovery.
Post Surgery Services include:

Care for Alzheimer's & Dementia Clients
Having a loved one with Alzheimer's or Dementia is challenging. Individuals with Alzheimer's or Dementia require constant care. Our experienced and specially trained Home Care Aides understand the stages of Alzheimer's disease and Dementia and can offer compassionate, supportive in home care.
Our PCAs can provide the following memory care services:
- Hygiene care- Assistance with showering, shampooing, and shaving. They will also help with teeth brushing, dressing, and other grooming tasks.
- Exercise assistance- Whether your loved one is healthy enough to go for a brisk walk or simply needs help walking around the house, our PCAs are there.
- Meal preparation- Our PCAs will take care of the shopping and complete any meal preparation needed to ensure your loved one is well-fed.
- Medication management- Our PCAs will be there to remind your loved one to take his or her medication and make sure its the correct dose.
